These speakers were first built in 1972.
However, some of the customers found that this cabinet was too extreme
in design, and more of them were ordered with Rosewood 'caps' on the top
and bottom of rte speakers. Then, in 1975, Alcan wouldn't store the rest
of the extruaion stock and the company had to design a steel cabinet.
